Featuring over 268 galleries from 35 countries showcasing works by more than 4,000 artists, Art Basel Miami Beach is North America's most comprehensive international contemporary art fair. Hosted yearly ( December) at the recently remodeled Miami Beach Convention Center, this signature event draws more than 83,000 art dealers, artists, collectors, and aficionados to Miami. Having evolved over the years into what is now loosely termed Miami Art Week, you will also find non-Art Basel-affiliated venues big and small throughout the city hosting satellite fairs, glittering parties, and events.
The South Beach Jazz Festival takes place in multiple venues throughout South Beach, over three days in January, and features everything from traditional, contemporary, Latin, and New Orleans style jazz. More than just great music this festival uses the rich legacy of jazz to expand our community’s perspective on individuals with unique abilities, with a view to breaking down barriers and increasing awareness. Drawing locals and guests from around the world, most of the performances are free and open to the public.
Often described as "the best three days on Ocean Drive," Art Deco weekend is visited by about 150,000 people each year and has become one of the nation's largest celebrations of Art Deco architecture. Beginning as a small grassroots festival produced by the Miami Design Preservation League, this free community event has evolved. It now showcases musical performances, fashion shows, walking tours, movie screenings, a lecture series, and antique cars, to name but a few of the activities on offer.
Since its inception in 2012, Art Wynwood has become one of the foremost winter contemporary and modern art fairs in South Florida. Produced by Art Miami, it takes place at the Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami site on Biscayne Bay. Offering a wide array of works featuring emerging talent, mid-career artists, blue-chip contemporary, post-war, and modern masters, it prides itself on attracting one of the most diverse, affluent, and culturally-savvy international audiences in the United States.
*** This year's Miami Yacht Show, Miami International Boat Show, and Superyacht Miami combine forces for a unique event near Art Wynwood. The merger of these signature boating events in Miami creates one of the largest boat shows in the world.
Life Time Miami Marathon & Half Marathon has emerged as a top USTAF-certified destination race and is one of the most significant endurance events of the year. With more than 25,000 people from all 50 states and more than 80 countries worldwide competing, the race showcases the best of Miami’s iconic landmarks and breathtaking views. From Miami Beach to Coconut Grove to Downtown Miami, this course offers a uniquely Miami experience for everyone to enjoy. As such, it has proven itself to be an exciting event for athletes and spectators alike.
This one-day street festival is the largest Hispanic, LGBTQ music, food, dance, art, and cultural street festival in the nation. Held in the heart of Miami's historic Little Havana, Gay8 is a fun-packed 'Walk of Fame' promenade that stretches out for blocks around its epicenter at the famed Calle Ocho. Other events around the festival will include a cigar lounge, historic walking tours, a mini-film festival, dance parties, and more.

Featuring more than 3,000 boats and 2,000 exhibitors from all over the globe, the Miami International Boat Show is the largest boat and yacht show in the world. A multi-venue event, it is held annually over President's Day Weekend. It's great for anyone who wants to know what's new in boating, from the latest powerboats, sailboats, luxury yachts, nautical accessories, or apparel. Hotels and Villas book early for this one. Pride Park, Herald Plaza, Venetian Marina, Museum Park Marina, and Superyacht Miami at Yacht Haven Grande Miam are also locations of note.
Full of fun for all the family, this three-day festival, held in the waterfront village of Coconut Grove, is the perfect way to spend Presidents’ Day Weekend. One of the nation’s premier arts festivals, the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, is returning for its 59th year in 2022, and this year it’s not just about seeing world-class art... An epicurean pleasure that will satiate every ravenous tastebud, South Beach Wine & Food Event (also known as SOBEWFF or SOBEFEST ) is one of the most anticipated festivals of its type in North America. The brainchild of Lee Brian Schrager and sponsored by the Food Network and Cooking Channel, it's a signature event culinary destination hub with thousands of hungry people descending onto the south beach to participate. Winter Party is an annual week-long festival of iconic dance and social events produced to raise critical funds for the LGBTQ community. A celebration that attracts people from all over the world, The Winter Party Festival plays host to an incredible mix of people, music, entertainment, and top international DJ talent. Regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, age, race, ethnicity, or belief, anyone, and everyone is made to feel comfortable and at home.
Drawing crowds for over 35 years, this Latin street festival is an explosion of energy and culture to the main street of Little Havana. Bringing a party atmosphere to accompany the warm weather, the non-stop music, fun activities, and delicious food truly is a celebration of all things Miami.
Made possible by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana, Carnaval Miami is not just two days of fun but also a party for a good cause helping support underserved children in the cities with education programs and internet access to people in need.
The Jazz in the Gardens Music Festival is one of the most anticipated 2-day events in the country and features the best artists from the R&B, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and funk genres. A wide variety of national artists have performed at Jazz in the Gardens over the years, including Lionel Richie, Mary J. Blige, Earth Wind & Fire, Kenny G., The Roots, Robin Thicke, Brandy, Maxwell, Babyface, Jill Scott, Herbie Hancock.
The Miami Open is one of the most prestigious competitions on the professional tennis circuit. With Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, and Serena Williams all coming together for this magnificent tournament, it truly is the Tennis' 5th Grand Slam. Second, only to the U.S. Open in attendance for American tennis events, be advised that tickets sell out quickly!

This annual outdoor music festival is considered one of the world's largest and most thrilling Electronic Dance Music events. With three days of jaw-dropping live performances, fantastic light effects, relentless dancing, and world-famous D.J.s, it's a Music Mecca for EDM fans. In the past, Calvin Harris, Avicii, Martin Garrix, Daft Punk, Zedd, and Hardwell have all performed. As a result, ultra Music Festival tickets are always in high demand, and VIP access goes very fast.
The largest Latin music festival in the country, Calle Ocho, has been the stepping stone for many leading Hispanic artists including Pitbull, Nicky Jam and Maluma.
